Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Has Sold Over 5 Million Copies

PLAYER UNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has sold over 5 million copies on steam since March 23rd. The game has made over 115 million from steam sales. Valve gets a 30% cut, that equals about 34 Million and 500 thousand . Player Unknown’s developer team Bluehole gets 65% cut, that equals about 74 million and 750 thousand. Epic games probably gets a 5% cut also because the game uses unreal engine. There is no publisher involved so it’s safe to say that Bluehole is absolutely swimming in the money right now. Valve has been swimming in the money for years now, but I am sure this game made them very happy for the extra profit!
